5. Whom to apply:

For recruitment in Group `C` posts, applications should be addressed to the Dy Chief Personnel Officer(Recruitment), South Eastern Railway, Garden Reach, Kolkata-700 043 or to be dropped in the box provided in the Recruitment Section of CPO`s Office/S.E.Railway Head Quarters, Garden Reach (1<sup>st</sup> floor of GM Building). For Group-`D` posts the applications should be addressed to the Postal address of respective Division or dropped in the box provided in the respective offices, at the address given below:-

7. How to apply:

a) The given format should be neatly types or handwritten either in English or Hindi on A-4 size paper with one passport size photograph(without coloured glassed/sunglass), duly signed on the top by the candidate and attested by the Gazetted Officer should be pasted at the specified space on the application form.

b) Two passport size photographs (same as affixed in the application form) duly signed on the top should be clipped along with the application form.

c) All the photocopies of certificates in support of age, caste, educational qualification, Scouting Qualification, other qualification etc. should be attested by a gazetted officer and should be enclosed along with the application form.

d) Copies of participation certificates and membership certificates for the last three years in the recent past and continuation certificate as active member should be countersigned by State/District Commissioner (Scouts) for Scout wing and State/District Commissioner (Guides) for Guides wing and should be enclosed along with the application form.

e) For UR & OBC candidates, applications should be accompanied with bank draft amounting to Rs.40/-(Rupees Forty only) as examination fees, to be drawn in favour of FA&CAO/S.E.Rly, Garden Reach. SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying examination fee.

f) Two self-addressed envelopes (Size 23cms x 10 cms) duly affixed with Rs.5/- postage stamp on each envelope should be accompanied with the application irrespective of UR/OBS/SC/ST candidate.

g) All the applications should be in closed-envelope superscribing on the top “Recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota 2008-09,

“Employment Notice __________ Dated___________”

“Post applied for________________and the name of the Division_________.”

The candidates applying for the post of Central District (HQ) should super scribe

“Central District/HQ” instead of the name of the Division on the envelope.
h) In case of serving employee “No objection certificate” from the employer should be attached.
